Pine River Watershed Tour
Date: Saturday, August 24, 2013

Hi Gord.

I am writing from the Pine River Watershed Initiative Network and am following up on your request for a bus tour for the beach associations on August 24th. We are going to have an appreciation day in conjunction with the tour. I can give you a brief overview of the day.

The bus will pick up guests at 1 pm at the Point Clark Community Centre and will take them on a bus tour of PRWIN projects and will end up at the McLarty Environmental Study Area on Bruce Road 6 around 2:30 (Approximately an hour and a half bus tour). There will be snacks, refreshments and entertainment for the remainder of the day at the site (until 4 pm). Guests will also be invited to explore the new walking trails on site.

If members from the beach association only want to go on the bus tour, we can arrange to have the bus take them back to Point Clark as well. I can email you a copy of the invitation once it is approved at the August 1st meeting and you can forward it on to the interested beach associations. Please note individuals must RSVP to the event, either by phone or email just to have a better idea of numbers.

Feel free to contact me at the office if you have any questions or concerns.

Hope to see you there!
